The majority of the books come from Great Britain which established Spirit Healing and Mediumship in all it's forms for the relatively short time of about the last 100 yrs. Modern Spiritualism originated in Hydesville, New York in the 1800's and later was taken to England and Europe. Among the early devotees were people such as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Sherlock Holmes, Sir Oliver Lodge and H.G. Wells. The remainder of the books come from the USA. A number of the books were published up to seventy years ago! They are still in print because they remain classics on the subject of Spirit.
