O' GREAT SPIRIT
Whose voice I hear in the wind, and whose breath gives life to all the world,
Hear me! I am small and weak, I need your strength & wisdom.
Let me walk in beauty, & make my eyes ever behold the red & purple sunset.
Make my hands respect the things you have made & my eyes sharp to hear your voice.
Make me wise so that I may understand the things you have taught my people.
Help me to remain calm & strong in the face of all that comes towards me.
Let me learn the lessons you have hidden in every leaf & rock.
Help me seek pure thoughts & act with the intention of helping others.
Help me find compassion without empathy over whelming me.
I seek strength, not to be greater than my brother, but to fight my greatest enemy - myself!
Make me always ready to come to you with clean hands & straight eyes.
So when life fades, as the fading sunset, my spirit may come to you without shame.

It does not require many words to speak the truth.

When I'm born I'm black
When I go out in the sun I'm black
When I'm scared I'm black
When I die I'm black
You White fella
When you born you pink
When you grow up you white
When you sick you green
When you go out in the sun you red
When you cold you blue
When you scared you yella
When you die you purple
And you got the cheek to call me coloured!!!!!!!!
